Plitvice 2/2

Our second day in Plitvice was super relaxing. We woke up at 9am and headed downstairs, where we made the most of the breakfast buffet. By “made the most of,” I of course mean we made sandwiches and hid them in our purses for lunchtime, and also hid two apples. Each.

After breakfast and lunch-stealing, we went back upstairs. The hike we planned to do was only 3 or 4 hours long, so we thought we'd miss the early-morning touristy rush and head out a little later. I took a nap all morning, which was AMAZING, while Kim wrestled with the internet.

That afternoon, we went out to do the hike we'd planned, around the lower lakes, and see the giant, famous waterfall.
